Junior Leo Huerta has been working on his music for the last year and posting it online.
“I’ve been doing it for like, probably a year. Like, if I add it all up, because I’m not really that consistent with it, which is kind of bad. But I’ve been trying to get more consistent with it, with the videos and stuff like that, but yeah,” Huerta said.
Huerta has had few influences but was motivated to start by the music around him.
“I haven’t really had any influence. But what influenced me to take on music was just listening to Correos Tambalos and hearing about Natanel Canao and stuff like that,” Huerta said.
Leo enjoys listening to Correos Tambalos music, which has been quite influential.
“My favorite music genre is Correos Tombados with traditional music from Mexico,” Huerta said.
Fellow junior Delavan Morgan has listened to his music and thinks he has made distinguished progress.
“He started like a few months ago and he wasn’t that good, but now he’s like doing a lot better than before. So I feel like he’d do a great job if he sticks with it,” Morgan said.
