RHS sophomore Preston Cubbler is passionate about hunting and has created many fond memories while hunting with his dad.
“I have been hunting since I was nine, like killing things, but I’ve been hunting with my dad since I was like two years old,” Cubbler said.
While on a hunting trip with his family Cubbler discovered his passion for hunting and wanted to hunt again and again.
“Well, my whole family hunts, so I kind of just fell with them and followed them. My favorite place to hunt is Colorado. I think the weather out there is great, I like the atmosphere, and all the people are nice out there,” Cubbler said.
Cubbler enjoys hunting deer as it has many great attributes, and has had many of his favorite experiences hunting deer with his dad. Such as, when he shot his first deer and really made him realize that he not only enjoys hunting but is good at it too.
“My favorite animal is deer. It tastes the best by far, and it gives the best vibe. When I shot my first deer, I realized I actually killed a deer and I was super excited and went through the process of gutting it,” Cubbler said.
