Roseville High School teacher Kelly Capell recently participated in a WASC program on the West Coast, where high school and college teachers meet together to earn accreditation. Her goal is to gain a six-year accreditation, which certifies our school as a trustworthy institution of learning.
“It was super helpful to see what the school did and what they did well so that way we can think about are visit which is in 2 years and we can be ready for that and make sure that were doing the very best that we can so that we get the best accreditation that we can, for up to 6 years and that’s always the hope is that we get a 6 year accreditation.”
Not only was Mrs. Capell aiming to receive accreditation, but she was also observing how other schools are run, and how we can implement it on our campus.
“I think what was the most interesting was to see how another school runs things it really gave me some ideas to bring back but it also showed me how amazing Roseville high school is and i was excited to just be reminded how amazing are campus, staff and students are, but there are always things that we can improve on so just looking at some of those things.”
