Senior Tristan Isidro has been doing taekwondo for quite some time and reflects on his past accomplishments.
“Ive been doing taekwondo since I was 5 years old and im 17 now so about 12 years. My biggest accomplishments have been just winning at multiple competitions. I started off at local competitions in Sacramento. Then I moved onto state and then national and eventually this past summer, I competed in the world championships in Anaheim.” Tristan Isidro said.
Tristan talks about his past competitions and achievements.
“The last competition I competed at was this past summer in Anaheim. It was the 2025 World Taekwondo Championships. In that tournament, I won four medals, including two golds, one bronze, and one silver.” Isidro said
Tristan had a recent nomination with many competitors.
“I was just nominated for the Youth Athlete of The Year competition. I’m currently first place out of 61 youth athletes.” Isidro said
Tristan has a goal to look forward to after his recent accomplishments.
I just earned a world title at this past competition. If I’m able to compete at another one and win top 3, then that would qualify me for Olympic tryouts. If I do good there then I will be able to compete in the next Olympics in Long Beach, California” Isidro said
