A famous cat at Roseville High School has found a new home at the Placer SPCA, taking the name of Zack. He has lived there since July of this year and has shown many great personality traits.
“He was turned in to us at the Placer SPCA. We’re located in Roseville, we’re down the street from you guys, we have cats and dogs and other animals available for adoption,” Isabella Struckman said.
Volunteers at the Placer SPCA have seen a diverse range of personality traits and they have found him to have what they call an independent spirit.
“We have found him to be what are volunteers are calling a calm, independent spirit. He has an energy that he likes to be on his own, he prefers to be independent, on his own and he tends to be on the quieter side,” Isabella Struckman said.
Students at Roseville High School have contrasting reactions to the information about Zack’s temporary home.
“Every time I would see it, I would always take pictures of it because it was so cute, and I feel like it just created a community with our school, because everybody wanted to, you know, pet it and stuff,” Amaya Richardson said.
“I think it’s sad. I feel like it should be back on the campus, and it was very cute, and whenever I was waiting for lunchtime, it would just wait by me,” Brent Bustillo said.
Workers at the SPCA hope Zach can find a new home that best fits the personality he’s shown so far.
“I would tell people who are interested in adopting Zack that he is a wonderful, very sweet cat who is looking for a calm home where he can really use his independent, playful spirit to the best of his ability to live a very happy life. I think he would be a great companion for a family that, like I said, has older kids,” Isabella Struckman said.
