Senior at Roseville High School Damian Sanchez started his own business by DJing for local events.
“I’ve been DJing for a few months now. I’ve had a few parties, a few family events, a wedding, and a quinceañera. This last weekend was my aunt’s birthday party, and I did that,” Sanchez said.
His favorite part of his job is watching the crowd’s response to things he does while DJing.
“Oh, my favorite part is just looking at the crowd and seeing their reaction when I play a good song, or just in general, I just love music,” Sanchez said.
He has incurred many struggles, but the hardest part of his job has been marketing his entrepreneurial endeavor.
“For sure, the hardest thing I’ve had to deal with was probably just getting my name out there and there. And, you know, letting my business, like letting everyone know about it, I don’t really have too much going on, meaning that I only have one platform that everyone knows me on. So I’d say for sure, just getting my name out there,” Sanchez said.
