Since the end of last semester, Roseville High School’s P.E. department has been taking attendance and conducting warmups in the auxiliary gym.
P.E. teacher Melissa Errecart explains the issues of what it’s like to have P.E. in the auxiliary gym.
“It’s been really good for P.E. It’s much easier to supervise in the aux gym than it is in the big gym. For a couple of reasons, the foyer in the big gym lots of kids to go out there and potentially get into some trouble, and also the access from the big gym to Campo Street.” P.E. teacher Melissa Errecart explains
Some students agree that it is much nicer in the Aux Gym than the Moeller Gym.
“It’s kind of nice, it’s nice a cool in the aux gym, especially during the summer. It is a little smaller, and warmups are really tight in there; that’s the only downside to it. Sophomore Alex Chavez states.
“I like how there’s A/C in there, but I don’t like how we have to leave and then come back in after dressing out. Freshman Charlie Vick expresses.
“It’s pretty good, but there’s a/c and that’s good, but it’s really small.” Freshman Blake Lester explains.
