In less than a month, Roseville High School’s brand new pool will open up for water polo to start practice. Water polo has not had a home pool for the past year, forcing them to travel around Roseville at different pools. The new pool will make transportation easier and hopefully bring some new faces to the program.
“I’m super excited for it. I feel like it’s going to make it way easier because during the season we had a lot of problems getting to practice because we had to drive all the way across town to community pools and Citrus Heights.” Freshman Nathan Hall said. “So that was really hard because I live on the opposite end of town and I know a couple players do. We also have to drive to West Park and I know players who live on the opposite side of town from them so it’s just going to make it super convenient.”
“The pool is going to bring some new kids to the program, and it’s going to be a lot easier for practices and transportation because we can go straight after school.” Sophomore Dylan Seals said.
