“This year is our last year and it’s definitely one I won’t forget. I started off the year strong, no longer ill from an illness I had during junior year. I got into the ROP medical careers program and it has totally changed my life. I connect with patients everyday and I get a hands on experience. I hope to continue down this path and hopefully end up having a career in the medical field.
I have two best friends, Naomi Ukaegbu and Lily Loza who have been my best friends since freshmen year. I am so lucky to have formed an amazing friendship with these two beautiful, intelligent ladies. Everyone deserves to have best friends like that. Every weekend my friends and I do Friday adventures. We get in the car and drive. We don’t know where to, but we drive until we find a new spot we haven’t been to.
I started this because you have to live life to the fullest. You never know when it’s your last day, and I think it’s so important to be happy with the people you love. This year I learned that people come and go. Everyone that’s been in your life has been in your life for a reason, to teach you, to love you, or to experience life with you but the true ones will always be by your side.”
