Last night, the Boys Varsity Basketball team came out with a one point win against the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack, with the Tigers winning by the smallest margin yet this season. The 58-57 win was huge for the Tigers to keep their hopes of winning a league title within reach. Senior Joe Cirrincione recounted the last few moments of the game.

“We were down two with about a minute left, and Jase [Giorgi] went down and hit a three which put us up by one, which was huge,” Cirrincione said. “After that we traded stops for the last minute, and we ended up winning by one.”

This win at Cosumnes was big for the Tigers, as they need to win out in order to win league. They have two more extremely vital games this week, with Antelope on Wednesday and Oakmont on Friday, the former in first and the latter in 8th.
