Last night the Boys Basketball Team defeated the Bella Vista Broncos to a tune of 72-52. The Tigers started out slow Tuesday night, but were able to heat up as the night went on. Senior Jack Visger was surprised by the sluggish start, but was impressed by the shooting ability of the opposing team.

“It was very unlike us to start the game off slow, because we usually come out hot at the start of all of our games,” Visger said. “Bella Vista shot really well last night, and we had to adjust our mindset to that.”

Luckily the Tigers pulled ahead later, and the key to their success was being able to finish down low.

“Joe (Cirrincione) had three and-one’s last night, which really fired our team up down the stretch,” said Visger.

The Tigers will face off against Ponderosa this Thursday, hoping to improve their league record to 5-2.
