Boys basketball fell to 12-5 overall last night with a 69-50 loss to the Antelope Titans. The Tigers came into the game as an underdog, as the Titans were tied for first in the CVC. Senior guard Jase Giorgi feel that the Tigers never really felt confident.

“Coming out of the locker room we knew it was going to be a tough game,” Giorgi said. “As the game wore on we just fell deeper into a hole and couldn’t really get out of it.”

Despite the loss, Giorgi feels the team showed that they could compete with the best teams in their league.

“Antelope is one of the best teams in league, and the loss definitely hurt, but this will just fuel us for the remainder of the season,” said Giorgi

The Tigers will attempt to rebound from the loss as they take on the last place Oakmont Vikings this Friday night.
