Boys Basketball fell to 12-4 overall last night with a 61-57 loss to the Whitney Wildcats. This was a match-up of unbeaten teams, as both the Tigers and Wildcats were undefeated in league going into the Thursday night game. Senior guard Joe Cirrincione feels that the team put up a good fight, and doesn’t think that the loss will faze the team.

“Whitney is definitely one of the top teams in the CVC, and we all know that it is a tough loss, but this will just make us hungrier as a team for the rest of the season,” Cirrincione said.

Looking forward to their next contest, Cirrinicione believes that the home field advantage of their next meeting will definitely sway the verdict in their favor.

“We have Whitney at home next time, and we all feel that having that game in our gym will give us an added boost with our fans,” Cirrincione said.

The Tigers have no time to sulk, however, as they have more important matters at hand. The Tigers will face the Antelope Titans next Tuesday, who have a league record of 3-0, and are coming off of a 73-42 win over Oakmont.
