Roseville High School girls varsity swim coach Mike March resigned on January 10, 2018. March has coached swim at Roseville for the past three years. Varsity swimmer Gabby Ordaz thinks the coaching change could be difficult.

“It will be kind of hard because the change is so last minute,” Ordaz said. “We had a close relationship, and replacing the experience he had will likely be difficult.

Ordaz hopes Roseville can find a coach that can interact with the players like March did.

“March connected with the girls very well and I felt that helped us become a better team,” Ordaz said.

With the start of the season less than a month away, the program will be in a rush to find a new coach, and hopes to have one named by the end of January.
