The varsity football team finished the season last Friday with a game against the Oakmont Vikings. The Tigers lost by a score of 27-8, closing out the season with a 1-9 record.

Senior running back Alex Evans thinks the team always worked their hardest, even when things weren’t going their way.

“It was a tough season, we suffered through a lot of injuries,” Evans said. “I’m proud of these guys for working and grinding through everything.”

Even though the team had its fair share of struggles this season, junior cornerback Ben Baker is already looking forward to next season and has high expectations.

“I’m going to miss all of the seniors from this year, they were a great group of guys,” Baker said. “I’m excited for next season and I think we’ll do pretty well,” Baker said.
