TRAILER WATCH: Netflix’s docu-series ‘Wormwood’

Netflix recently released the trailer for one of its upcoming miniseries, Wormwood. It will entail six parts, following a true story, the journey of Eric Olson trying to uncover the truth behind his father’s (Peter Sarsgaard) mysterious death involving the CIA.

The trailer did not give much away. However, I can tell that any conspiracy theorist would love it and it will be shocking for those who completely trust the government.

The series will dig into the dark secrets of the CIA, exposing what many, including Olson thought to be true. Following Olson’s sixty year journey to discover how his father really died, some of the secrets and lies told by the CIA such as the LSD experiments and mind control will be revealed and explored.

Directed by Errol Morris, this mini docu-series will incorporate his unique interview style along with reenactments as well as real, vintage footage from archives. From what I can tell from the trailer, the series does not look as if it will be like a normal, typically cheesy documentary but more cinematic in its approach..

I am looking forward to the release of this mini-series, I expect it to be very enticing and give me the dirt that I love to hear.

Wormwood debuted at the Telluride Film Festival and will make its appearance on Netflix December 15.
