After the release of the newest Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer, the hype for the movie has raised significantly.

The trailer starts by showing shots of the empire and their multitude of weapons and stormtroopers. This is succeeded by showing Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, training with the newfound Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill,  as an old man. She later shows her prowess with the force which is very cool to see.

This would be some of the first mainstream use of the force that we have seen in any of the new Star Wars movies so with the updated special effects, it will be exciting to see how they will effect the show.

The show alludes to an untapped power and the trailer builds up the suspense by mentioning it and not showing any hints as to what the power could be.

Seeing Luke Skywalker as an old man is also very cool. Ever since I was a kid, I saw Luke Skywalker as a young hero, but seeing him as an old man is a real shift in how you see him. The final part has Kylo Ren reaching out his hand to Rey, offering his help, this leads you to believe that Rey may switch sides, but this could be just the classic fake-out.

With all of these cool teasers, it makes me really excited to see how the movie will play out.
