VOLLEYBALL: Varsity girls defeat Woodcreek

The girls varsity volleyball team beat Woodcreek in 3 sets as they outscored the Timberwolves 25-22, 25-11, and 25-22.
Senior setter Jessica Donahue, felt the team rallied together in order to comeback from their two previous losses.
“We came together and trusted each other during the game,” Donahue said. “that is why we came out on top in 3.”
Donahue was recognized as the player of the match as she came out with a lot of intensity trying to beat Woodcreek and gain momentum for the upcoming tournament.
“I honestly don’t believe I played differently,” Donahue said. “It was really the team that helped me do what I needed to do.”
The Tigers play today against Paradise High School at the High Sierra Invitational tournament in Reno.
