The win puts the Tigers in a tie for second place with the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack. Both teams trail the Whitney Wildcats by one win.

Once again, senior doubles pair Braden Triplett and Clay Bradley dominated and is still undefeated in league play.

Bradley understood the significance of the game before coming before heading into it.

“It was a big win for us because we now only need one more win in the next two matches to make it to playoffs,” Bradley said.

He added that the emotions and win on Senior Night can’t be the highlight of the season.

“It was a great night, but we still do have matches to play, as well as playoffs,” Bradley said. “It was a bittersweet moment, but I know we’ll keep pushing [to playoffs].”

As the Tigers anticipate playoff action, they prepare to take on the Oakmont Vikings today on the road.
