BASKETBALL: JV boys dominate Woodcreek, for first matchup win in four years
December 14, 2016
The JV basketball team had a blowout 74-37 win over the Woodcreek Timberwolves on Tuesday night.
The win marks the first time the JV team has beat the Timberwolves in the rivalry matchup in four years, and the team was able to run away with it with twice as many points as its opposition.
Sophomore guard Bernie Graves felt that the team played well against the Timberwolves and managed to tire them out in the second half, allowing the boys to take advantage.
“Once we got to the third quarter we made them quit, and that’s how we were able to get such a big lead on them,” Graves said.
Their next game will be against the Del Oro Golden Eagles next Tuesday in Loomis.
