PHOTO: AVID 11 puts on ‘pie in the face’ fundraiser

AVID 11 hosted a ‘pie in the face’ fundraising competition. Teachers were pitted against one another with students donating to their favored faculty member. Administration and teachers who earned less than their competitor got a ‘pie in the face.’
Junior Austin Rohr also joined in and was glad to help, even if it meant getting a little messy.
“It was pretty fun,” Rohr said. “I’m pretty dirty right now and can’t see out of my left eye.”
Proceeds will go to support AVID field trips.
