The JV girls volleyball team took on the Placer High Hillmen last night, winning the first twos sets and picking up their second win.

Freshman middle Kate Slack thinks the team played well the last couple of matches hopes to continue that form.

“We’ve played really well these last couple of matches, and we’ve made a lot of progress as a team,” Slack said. “I hope we continue to play like this into league.”

Slack also thinks she is adapting well to the JV level, and the team has welcomed her nicely.

“I think I’ve been playing really well, I’m starting to get used to the speed of the JV level,” Slack said. “The girls have been very nice to me so far and have given me a warm welcome.”

The Tigers have a home game against the Woodcreek Timberwolves tomorrow night, hoping to pick up their third win.
