Varsity volleyball defeats Woodcreek in four sets
September 9, 2016
The girl’s varsity volleyball team defeated the Woodcreek Timberwolves in 4 sets. The scores of the sets were 25-16, 25-22, 25-27 and 25-11.
Still, junior setter, Jessie Donahue, feels that the team did not play to their best ability, because they were over confident before the game due to defeating the Timberwolves in a recent scrimmage.
“We definitely could have done a lot better, and we could improve on communications,” Donahue said.
Although Donahue feels that they have room for improvement, she still has high expectations for league, because they played well in previous games and tournaments.
Donahue hopes for a win in their next match, and first league game, at Del Campo on Monday.
