HUMANS OF RHS: Claudia Occhiogrosso

Fourth year student Claudia Occhiogrosso comes to RHS leaving behind many things that she loves for new opportunities. She traveled from Italy to make new beginnings and to tour all of California, so she can earn her own independence and understand other cultures, although she plans to go back home next year to finish her fifth year of high school. Although she thought it was easy, it was never as it seemed and brought challenges ahead.

“I thought it was easier but now it’s a bit harder, because you don’t know what to say sometimes so you just need to know friends that are already created so it makes it a bit harder.”

“I realized that sometimes I can be outgoing and sometimes I can be really shy and so that is the biggest thing I can understand.”
