Kenobi is set to hit Disney Plus on May 25th. The show has been in talks since late 2020. It has fans extremely excited to see what Obi Wan had to go through after Order 66 took place.

Obi Wan will be played by none other than their very own Ewan McGregor. He played Obi Wan back in the prequels: Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

He had big shoes to fill after Alec Guinness played Obi Wan in the original Star Wars movie A New Hope. McGregor did a fantastic job and now when someone says Obi Wan they think of Ewan.

The show takes place ten years after  Revenge of the Sith . At the end, Yoda talks to Obi Wan and tells him that there is a way to talk to your old master, Qui Gon Jinn. This basically confirms that Jinn will be back in the Star Wars franchise after only being in it for one movie.

Yes there will be a lot of returning heroes to the show. To me that’s not the biggest deal. Hayden Christensen will be returning to play the iconic role, Darth Vader.

This shocked audiences. Because Christensen isn’t extremely old, I think that this means that Darth Vader will be in his prime which means there will be fight scenes, like we got to experience in Rogue One, at the very end.

These fighting scenes between Obi Wan and Darth Vader in this series should be something to watch for.

There have been rumors of another villain that fans did not get enough of.

Darth Maul.

It’s by no means confirmed by Disney that Darth Maul will be in the show, but I hope to see Maul make an appearance at least once.
