Bill and Ted Review

KRIS JIBSON

Bill and Ted: Face The Music was released on August 28th, 2020. Everyone was super excited to find out that Bill and Ted were going to reunite after all these years. Unfortunately, this movie was getting really hyped up, but it did not live up to the hype at all.

The first movie, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure was a huge success and left fans laughing throughout the entire movie. When the second movie came out, Bill and Ted’s Bogus Adventure, it wasn’t as good as the first one, but still funny. Now, the third movie has come out and I will be the first to say it was terrible.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reunite yet again as the iconic Bill and Ted characters. When both of the actors first appeared on screen, I didn’t know what to think because of how old both of the actors have gotten. Throughout the movie, it was just weird to see the actors trying to pick up their original role from when they were extremely young so it was just different to see.

Bill and Ted: Face The Music is a movie where you didn’t know what to expect. This movie most definitely brought in a new story when the producer decided to bring their kids into the action which in my opinion, made it so much worse.  I don’t want to get into a ton of details but when they have their kids get in a modern time machine and not the telephone booth i feel like it totally ruined it, making it so much worse.

Some of the key people that were in the first two movies were not in this movie. For example, I think a huge one was Rufus. Rufus, for the people who don’t know, was the guy from the future who told Bill and Ted that they needed to use this time machine to get a good grade on their history report.

The super sad thing about this movie is because of how old everyone is, it just looks like they don’t care about the movie because they just tried too hard to try and make it as funny as the previous two movies, and it just flopped big time.

If I were to rate this movie out of 10, I would probably give it a 4/10 just because of how much this movie actually flopped.
