All freshmen in health and PE courses attended a period-long Peer Helping assembly yesterday to introduce the program and help bring empathy and understanding to school. 

For freshman attendee Carson Burch, the assembly piqued his interest in the program. 

“It definitely was an inspiration to join Peer Helping, because even if I haven’t gone through any major struggles, so I couldn’t relate in that way, it was almost inspiring to see how they help each other,” Burch said. “They support each other. It seems like a really tight community in there.”
