#6 – Josh Alger

Coming in at number six on the Winter sports top 10 is junior Josh Alger. Alger is a three-year varsity player and two-year varsity starter on the Roseville High School boys varsity basketball team.

Alger led the majority of the team’s stats averaging 13.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. Alger also averaged 1.8 steals a game.

Teammate senior Cade Triplett believes that Alger is a very positive player and creates a good environment on and off the court.

“Josh is always positive and fun to be around and is a great leader on our team and will hopefully continue this next season” Triplett said.

Triplett also believes that Alger’s competitive spirit is very beneficial to the team’s success this past season.

“He is a very competitive player and that always helped us in practice and make them faster and it makes us all work harder” Triplett said.
