Sandle finished as the team’s highest-scoring player this season, averaging 14.5 points a game. Sandle’s ability landed her a spot on the CVC’s first team all conference and allowed her to have a total of 348 points over the season.

#4 – Alyssa Sandle

Coming in at the number four spot for the top 9 winter athletes is arsity basketball player Alyssa Sandle, who was one of the key players who helped lead the basketball team to playoffs this season.

Sandle finished as the team’s highest-scoring player this season, averaging 14.5 points a game. Sandle’s ability landed her a spot on the CVC’s first team all conference and allowed her to have a total of 348 points over the season.

According to senior teammate Alexis Wilson, Sandle was a steadying force for the team.

“Alyssa is the most consistent player on our team,” Wilson said. “With her you know that we’re going to get a solid performance every time.”

Sandle is seen as the driving factor of their team as everyday she pushes them to be better and work harder.

“Alyssa made the team want to be better. She pushed us, she taught us, and she helped us be the best that we could be,” Wilson said. “She gave 300% every time she practiced and every game. You could always count on her to do what she does best.”
