In this edition of Eye of the Tiger, Ryley Metten and Rileigh Shull anchor. Last Friday, students came together to donate for the biannual blood drive. Over 120 students signed up to donate this year. Girls basketball was seeded number 10 and is going up against number seven seed Elk Grove. The two played earlier this season where the tigers prevailed in a close 39-38 victory. Elk grove finished out league 10-2, while Roseville finished 8-4. Boys soccer also plays tonight as the sixth seed and a home berth after getting second place in league. They go up against 11 seed Del Oro who went 3-4-3 in league. As for girls soccer they play tomorrow as the ninth seed going up against eight seed Rodriquez High School. Rodriguez had an undefeated 8-0-2 league record, as the Tigers went 8-3-3. The Roseville High School Theatre Company attended the annual Lenaea High School Theatre Festival at Folsom Lake High School’s Harris Center. Their one-act, Declaration won three awards and junior Alesandra Cariaga won a gold award for her musical theatre performance.
