The POTW for the week of December 1-7 is the varsity boys basketball game, where they went on to beat the West Campus Warriors with a score of 89-65.

Senior Cade Triplett, and junior Josh Alger both put up 18 points in the third game of the season. Senior Dylan Ranallo had 16 points, and senior Jaheem Seay had 11 points. Junior and first year varsity player Kobe Irwin emphasizes this year’s concentration on team basketball, and to put the team first.

“We focused on what we needed to do,” Irwin said. “We focused on each other and not ourselves, when we start to get big headed and think about ourselves first, we start to crumble.”
Irwin feels as though the team excelled in all aspects of the game.

“In many games it’s hard to have both [offense and defense] working together,” Irwin said. “We had some guys who stepped up big and were big leaders this game.”
