The POTW for the week of November 24-30 is Trenton Artica qualifying and competing for Roseville in the CIF state cross country meet. Trenton finished the race doing his best, and gradually did better than his previous races.

“During the race my body felt like I could really keep pushing it and picking up the pace which should a lot from my original drop from my PR to my new one” said Artica.

His fellow Cross Country teammate Max Cerecedes knew that Artica had been working up to where he had got to now and that he was competing with the best runners at the meet.

“I’m very proud of Trenton he got top ten in the race out of I believe 315 runners,” Cerecedes said. “So that is very good and a lot of the top running schools were in the race that we were in.”
