Last Friday, the Roseville Tigers took on the Yuba City Honkers. Both teams went scoreless through the first quarter, but each team scored twice in the second making it 14-14 going into halftime. The Honkers would go on to score twice in the third and fourth quarter. The Tigers fell with a final score of 42-14.

Running back Joe Brijs was upset about the outcome of the game, and recognizes the team has more to work on going into this Friday’s game against the Bella Vista Broncos.

“We came out strong and scored super early. We had the lead 14-0 midway into the second quarter,” Brijs said. “Once they scored, everything went wrong and they tied it and after that point the game was over.”

Roseville has two games left this season against Bella Vista and the Inderkum Tigers.
