Roseville High School junior James Jaggers is going to a football-based 7 on 7 camp this summer to further his range of skills and improve his football tactics as well as visiting colleges.

Jaggers will be attending an all expenses paid camp in Atlanta, going to Florida to visit the university and also going to Louisiana to visit LSU.

The camp is invite only so Jaggers will be practicing with the top high school football players in the country.

“It’s a lot of top kids in the nation so it will be a good chance to compete with all those guys,” Jaggers said.

Because many of the coaches at this camp are former NFL players, Jaggers hopes to learn a lot from them.

“I just want to pick up anything that I can,” Jaggers said.

Jaggers is popular in the scouting world and gets these opportunities somewhat because of a website called rivals where players videos and previous camp information is stored.

Jaggers has attended similar camps in the past and was invited back because of his ranking among the top 200 kids from the camps.

“It’s a really good opportunity, you can have a lot of fun with it and it’s not something I get to do more than once,” Jaggers said.
