RHS Tennis starts playoffs strong

Last Friday, the second seed Roseville High School team played their first playoff match against the seventh seed Tracy Bulldogs. Tracy previously beat the 10th seed Vacaville Bulldogs in the first round with a score of 6-3.

Roseville’s first, second and third singles all lost their matches putting them off to a bad start. James Jones and Max and Cooper Cerecedes all came out victorious in their matches, making it a close match. Then it was time for the doubles to play, the 1st doubles sadly were defeated in a close match by the Tracy Bulldogs.

Roseville’s second and third doubles were able to come out on top late in the match. Advancing them into playoffs and defeating the Bulldogs 5-4.

Tomorrow at home at 4:00 pm the Roseville’s Tennis team will be playing against the 3rd seed Whitney Wildcats who are coming off a hot game wiping the floor with the 6th seed Bella Vista Broncos beating them 9-0.
