Last Wednesday night the Roseville varsity wrestling team took on the Bella Vista Broncos in a match that could determine which team takes league. The Tigers ended up falling to the Broncos in their sixth league, making their record 5-1.

Sophomore wrestler Eddie Valdez felt they held strong but that the Broncos were stronger than them.

“They flat out just wrestled better than us,” Valdez said. “ They simply were better than us that day.”

Valdez sees their team as really strong and hopes to come back strong and win there next game.

“We are a super strong team, and have great potential,” Valdez said. “All we can hope for is a win our next match and a Broncos loss.”

For the Tigers, the only way to win league now after losing to the Broncos is if they win their next match against Inderkum and the Broncos lose in next match.
