Boys varsity basketball remains undefeated

BELLA AYALA

Last Tuesday night the boys varsity basketball team beat the Bella Vista Broncos by a score of 70-58.

Sophomore Josh Alger had a big game and scored 22 points for the Tigers.

The boys improved their overall record to 15-6, and remain undefeated in league with a record of 5-0. The team is tied for first place in league with the Inderkum Tigers.

Senior Hayden Hatch believes the teams work ethic and lock down defense led to the team’s success.

“We out hustled them and put a lot of pressure on them on defense,” Hatch said.

Hatch thinks the teams transition game will be a deciding factor in the game against Inderkum.

“To beat Inderkum we need to play fast and make shots in transition,” Hatch said.
