Girls varsity soccer ties Bella Vista, maintains first place

Last Friday, girls varsity soccer tied the Bella Vista Broncos with a score of 2-2.  This brings the Tigers’ league record to 3-0-1 and overall record to 6-2-1.

Even despite the tie, the Tigers are still in first place in the CVC with the Woodcreek Timberwolves in second with a 3-1-1 league record.

Junior Alyssa Granno found that the team was able to stop the Broncos’ attacks, yet often struggled once they had possession.

“We broke down their transitions when they were attacking which helped us, although we tended to panic and kick the ball when we were under pressure” Granno said.
