Last Friday, the Roseville girls varsity basketball team defeated the Bella Vista Broncos with a score of 67-17. This improves the Tigers’ record to 11-8 and 4-1 in league.

Senior Jordyn Hilliard, a transfer from Bella Vista was excited to get to play against her old team.

“It was nice to get to play against my old team and get to see some of my old teammates,” Hilliard said.

Hilliard gave props to sophomore teammate Alyssa Sandle for helping get the team the win.

“Alyssa played really well, she knows her role and played it,” Alyssa said. “She got her points and moved the ball down enough so the rest of us could get ours in and without her pressure defense we couldn’t get any momentum going.”
