RHS PLTW teacher Erin Granucci has won RJUHSD Teacher of the Year. After being named teacher for RHS and RJUHSD, Granucci is now eligible to win on a county level.

Granucci is excited to move on to the next level, even though it’s less personal.

“Going to Placer County, you don’t really know these people, they don’t know you, so there is a little bit of pressure, but excitement; I guess it cuts a little bit of the pressure off,” Granucci said. “It really is an honor to be recognized for your hard work and dedication, but again I’m super excited. It’s gonna be new. I don’t know what’s coming my way.”

If she wins, Granucci may move up to the California State award.
