Last Friday, the Varsity football team took on the Oakmont Vikings, in the first home game of the season. The team came out on top winning 20-6 in the second non-league match of the season, making their overall record 2-0 for the season. The team got the lead early and kept the lead throughout the game. Junior Tyler Rohwer knows they played a great game but recognizes they have things to improve on.

“The game on Friday went very well, but there is of course some stuff we need to fix for the next upcoming games,” Rohwer said. “We need to improve on our own assignments and make sure everything goes smoothly come Friday.”

Before both games, the Jv team defeated the Vikings 20-7, and the freshman came out with a last second victory 19-18. This gives the Tigers another sweep, and all three teams are scheduled to play Rio American at home on friday.
