The first trailer for Austin Vesely’s small town crime/thriller comedy film Slice was released yesterday.

This film is produced by the Oscar award-winning A24. In past years the stellar movie line up A24 has put out has dominated almost every category they are nominated for and early looks for their latest movie seems to be no exception.

This trailer puts out unique a tone that has never really been used from this studio and I am excited to see how they execute it.

Chance the Rapper makes his acting debut in this story as a mysterious killer.

Also in the amazing cast lineup is Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2, Atlanta) , Joe Keery (Stranger Things, Molly’s Game) and Paul Scheer (The League, Disaster Artist) . Anyone of these actors could carry their own movie so it is highly unlikely this one will be a flop.

If there was anything to complain about it would be the special effects but what can you expect from a low budget film.
