Yesterday the varsity boys golf team competed in the first CVC League Tournament of the Year. The tournament took place at Teal Bend Golf Course in Sacramento. The team shot 460 on the tournament, which placed them in fifth overall. Junior Johnny Drinkwater had the third best score of the Tigers, yet felt the team still has a lot of room to improve.

“We’re not exactly happy with our finish yesterday, even though we did finish in the middle of the pack. There is definitely room for us to get better and shoot lower scores,” Drinkwater said.

The Tigers face of against the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack today, at Sierra View Country Club.
