A week and a half ago the boys baseball team participated in the Christian Brothers Easter Tournament; they went 1-3 against teams such as the Ponderosa Bruins, the Christian Brothers Falcons and the Seaside Spartans.

Senior Blake Beaman is disappointed with the weekend but knows the team will bounce back and get back in winning form in the coming weeks.

“We just didn’t come to play this weekend and our record shows it, but we are going to take this as a wake up call that we need to come to play in order to win our games not just show up,” Beaman said.

This brings the teams overall and preseason record to 6-3-1 as they prepare for their first league game against the Del Campo Cougars.
