Yesterday, the varsity boys baseball team defeated the Inderkum tigers 11-1 at home in their first preseason game.

Senior Blake Beaman feels that the team getting their first win in their first game of the season is a big confidence booster and helped everybody get some of their nerves out.

“The first game of the season is always a nervous time,” Beaman said. “To be able to get a win by such a big margin gives us a lot of confidence not just for our next game but the season itself.”

The Tigers will hope to continue their winning fashion at the Downey baseball tournament this upcoming weekend.
