Tuesday night, the varsity girls soccer team fell to the Ponderosa Bruins 3-1, their only goal coming from junior top goalscorer Mackenzie GIll. The tigers clinched a playoff spot, however last night’s defeat will most likely cost them home field advantage in the playoffs. Junior forward Kelsey GIll was disappointed with what the loss means for their playoff run, but doesn’t believe it’ll change much for the team..

“It’s a shame we might not have any home playoff games because the support from the crowd has helped contribute to our home success this season,” Gill said. “However, we have one of the best away records in the league, so I won’t lose sleep over future away games.”

The tigers will face off against the Oakmont Vikings this thursday night at Oakmont High School and look to gain momentum for their upcoming playoff run.
