Roseville High School counselors, in partnership with the College and Career Center, held a College Signing Day event for the graduating seniors. After descending the steps in the amphitheater, Mr. Bird and Mrs. Malia announced where each of the seniors is headed in the fall.
Raja Gossal, who has committed to CSU Sacramento, says he’s happy to have participated in the event.
“It basically means that all of our hard work has paid off and we finally get to gloat a little bit,” Gossal said.
Ben Welker, who has committed to Lewis and Clark, says school is the main priority for him because he would like to strive into a good college.
“I would say school always comes first because you’re always trying to get into a good college,” Welker said.
After Gossal’s commitment, a lot of stress was relieved.
“After I decided where I wanted to go, like committing to it and actually accepting the school, felt great. A lot of stress was off my shoulders,” Gossal said.
