Yesterday, the Boys Golf team fell to the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack by a score of 248-215. This loss puts the team’s record at 0-2 in league, following their first loss of the league season to Del Campo on Tuesday. They played at the home course of the Wolfpack, Bartley Cavanaugh, which proved to be a challenge for the Tigers. Senior Chase Baker discussed the challenge that the course provided.
“We all had a tough time playing, and considering that our average score was a 49, we definitely didn’t play our best golf as a team,” said Baker. “Hopefully we can start learning to adapt to the different course styles so that we can be more successful.”
The next league match for the Tigers will be next Tuesday at Woodcreek Oaks.
