Bat disrupts Mowrer’s first period class

BRIAN NUEVO

Tuesday morning, a bat disrupted english and french teacher Amy Mowrer’s first period class.

Mowrer noticed “a black mass messing with the blinds” and subsequently vacated her classroom.

Mowrer moved her class into room 916 until animal control could arrive. Animal control searched during the ROAR period, but could not locate the bat.

This is not the first time a bat has disrupted one of Mowrer’s classes. Last September, a bat interfered with her fourth period class.

Correction: This article previously reported that a bat interrupted Amy Mowrer’s first and second periods. Mowrer, however, noticed the bat in her first period, and animal control arrived during the ROAR period.
