The varsity volleyball team beat the Oakmont Vikings in their final league game of the year, securing a spot in the post-season playoffs.

The game was won in four sets, winning 25-21, losing 21-25, again winning 25-21 and closing out the match 25-16.

Senior Isabelle Bautista felt that the game was played closer than they expected but was happy with the outcome.

“I feel like we came in a little too over-confidently, because we did beat them last time,” Bautista said, “I feel like people put a little bit more pressure on themselves because of playoffs.”

With a spot in the playoffs secured, Bautista said that the team’s goal is to make it past the first round and move on in postseason.

Although the team has made it to playoffs, the schedule has not been released as to who they will play.
